Ukrainian pop star Angela has released a stylish video for her new radio hit “Don’t
Offend Me.” The song is about abusive relationships and getting out of them on your
own terms.

The clip conveys the emotional state of an experienced woman who is going through
a difficult and emotional way out of an unhappy relationship: “This is a simple and at
the same time difficult job. We literally demonstrated what this song is about – about
standing up for yourself in a relationship, about emotional pain and struggle, about
forgetting the better things and moving on. Throughout the clip, my partner and I
played a couple who are fighting in their own home and trying to hurt each other,”
Angela said.
The video was shot in one day in real interiors and reconstructs a real quarrel
between two people. The actress and her partner prepared for this work for a long
time and played the real emotions of two lovers who love each other but hurt
everyone.

The clip for the hit “Don’t offend me” became part of the star’s music series, which
reveals all aspects of the life of a modern self-sufficient woman. Angela sings about
the good and the bad in our lives and romantic relationships and is not afraid to
touch on difficult topics, such as psychological abuse: “Abuse has probably been
faced by every grown-up girl. Violence is not always planned, most often it is the
emotions of a partner who cannot help himself, so it is important to be strong and not
allow your boundaries to be violated,” explained the star.
