Prep’d in Macau: eating healthy meals to be fit

I live in Macau for over 1 year now: from January to May 2024 i studied as exchange student at the University of Macau, then i went back to Italy for three months (June, July and August), finally in September i came back to work here.

Prep’d: managing macros and meals

I gained some weight in these months. The fault was all mine. At first, for the happiness of achieving my dream (moving to Macau), i ate a lot (Chinese food, Jollibee, McDonald, Starbucks, Buffet, etc.); then for the stress of my working life (my first full time job, in a country that has really different working standards from Europe), i found comfort in food.

In January, since i feel more relaxed and used to everything happening here, i started to eat less and lose a bit of weight (really slowly, too slowly). One day, however, i was thinking about a brand that is really popular in Italy: HelloFresh. It’s a website where you can order meal box where you’ll find ingredients to prepare your lunch and dinner (everything’s based on your goals). You have simply to mix the ingredients to create the dish (all the portions are already set by HelloFresh).

Thanks to Facebook, few days after my research, i saw an advertisement from Prep’d Macau. It was perfect: Meal prep and delivery service. In other words, you pay a certain price to receive food for the entire week.

They manage all the macros and meals and you don’t have to worry about anything.

I tried it and i’m really satisfied with the service. I wrote to them on their Facebook page (but you can also find them on Instagram) and they replied really fast, giving me all the info that i needed. Actually it’s still the first week but i already see progress: not only losing weight but also feeling more strenght and energy. I feel less tired, don’t have anymore problems with my stomach after eating and can see improvements in my daily activities. Of course it’s a process that is slow and takes time but i’m really confident it will last: the meals are not big but they don’t make me feel the hunger for all the afternoon.
