Hello everyone, welcome back to thegametv.org! Today we’ll talk about Black Ops 6!

On Twitch, I am live streaming every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to play all the titles included in the game pass.

In fact, I have received a code to try out Xbox’s Game Pass Ultimate (which I thank for once again giving me the opportunity to propose quality articles). The goal is to bring, in three months, all the major titles included in the game pass to Twitch and tell about them, from time to time, on my blogs.

Black Ops 6: starting with one of the most popular titles

Today, Tuesday 25 February, in the new live stream on Twitch, I started the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 campaign. You can re-watch the video of the live broadcast on Twitch or on YouTube (the official blog channel will in fact be used to upload all live broadcasts, in full).

Unfortunately I made a mistake today: I didn’t do the audio test, I started the live broadcast, I checked if it was actually playing but I didn’t do an audio check… and in fact the sound of the game is quite low (this problem can easily be solved if you increase the volume of the headphones) but the thing I regret the most is that you can’t hear my microphone! Imagine how I feel: I talked for two hours, during the game, and nothing I said can be heard.

This first stream was a learning experience. Technical issues are part of the journey, and while frustrating, they also remind me how important preparation is before going live. Despite the missing microphone audio, I was encouraged by the fact that viewers still enjoyed following the gameplay itself. It shows that the strength of the campaign can carry the broadcast, even when commentary is absent.

However, not too bad. Being a story mode, this first live broadcast is still enjoyable. You can listen to the dialogue of the characters and see how I played.

The pacing of the first mission was excellent. It introduced the main characters gradually, mixing action with exposition so that players could understand the stakes without feeling overwhelmed. I appreciated how the game balanced cinematic cutscenes with interactive sequences, making the transition between story and gameplay seamless. This design choice kept me immersed from start to finish

From the next live broadcast (the one taking place tomorrow, 26 February), I will be more careful about activating the microphone!

A captivating campaign – Black Ops 6

It’s still early to give an assessment to Black Ops 6’s campaign. Certainly the new chapter of Call of Duty promises to be full of twists and turns. The live stream lasted two hours and I practically only completed the first mission (I didn’t skip any dialogue or the intro titles). The dialogue is enjoyable and not cloying like some games that literally become unbearable in the long run.

I am one of those who, especially in shooter games, likes to skip the dialogues and cut to the chase. On ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ however, I don’t feel this need. It’s true that the choice not to skip any scenes stems from the fact that I want to bring full gameplay to Twitch and my blogs, but it doesn’t weigh me down at all. On the contrary… Two hours flew by today.

What struck me most was the tone of the narrative. Set in the early 1990s, the campaign captures the uncertainty of the post‑Cold War era, where alliances shift and hidden agendas dominate. The writing feels grounded in history yet imaginative enough to keep players guessing. This blend of realism and fiction makes the story compelling, and I can already sense that future missions will explore themes of betrayal, loyalty, and survival.

Another highlight is sharing the experience with the community. Even though the live stream had limited interaction due to the audio issue, viewers later commented on YouTube about their own impressions of the campaign. This exchange of ideas adds another layer of enjoyment, turning the playthrough into a collective journey. Looking ahead, I expect the campaign to deliver more surprises, and I’m eager to see how the developers will keep raising the tension.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 – the plot

In a new adventure set in the early 1990s, during the post-Cold War transition period, the CIA is infiltrated by a shadowy force that labels anyone who opposes it a traitor. Exiled from their agency and country, Black Ops veteran Frank Woods and his protégé Troy Marshall must flee for their lives.

They join forces with CIA coordinator Jane Harrow, forming a team of renegade agents, including computer genius Felix Neumann and mysterious assassin Sevati Dumas. The notorious Russell Adler also makes his return, with ambiguous motives, but with the team needing all the help they can get.
